<br />accept, one or more qualified Allies for full-time <br />AmeriCorps placement by Partner Organization in a <br />position; <br /> <br />(f) has read and understood Public Allies Silicon Valley's <br />Partner Organization Supervisor Expectations handbook <br />and Ally Policies, Graduation Requirements and <br />Expectations handbook as may be in effect from time to <br />time; and <br /> <br />(g) has understood its obligation under the Corporation for <br />National and Community Service Grant to Public Allies <br />Inc. ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and of the <br />recitals, representations and warranties hereinafter set forth and <br />upon the terms and conditions contained herein, the Parties hereto <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES <br /> <br />A. Duties and Responsibilities of Public Allies Silicon <br />Valley <br /> <br />Public Allies Silicon Valley shall: <br /> <br />i. Use its best efforts to recruit and select Allies <br />for the Program, and to provide information <br />regarding certain Allies to Partner Organization in <br />sufficient detail to permit Partner Organization to <br />evaluate their suitability for the position; and <br /> <br />ii. Work with Partner Organization on training an Ally <br />applicable to the position, and use its best <br />efforts to train Ally both during the initial 10 <br />day core training Program in team-building and <br />during each Friday (all of which will be a regular <br />business day) of every month of the Term in <br />selected areas; <br /> <br />B. Duties and Responsibilities of Partner Organization <br /> <br />Partner Organization shall: <br /> <br />i. Be billed for one-third of the total contribution <br />on the last day of the first, fourth, and seventh <br />months of the program, which begins in September <br />2006 and goes until the end of June 2007. The <br />contribution is $15,777.00 per Ally. Thus the <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />.... <br />
