event materials), Outreach Memorandum (including estimated number of <br />participants and summary of feedback) <br />Task 1.4 — Terminal Configuration and Terminal Construction, Vessels, and Ferry <br />Service Cost Assessment <br />The assessments will: <br />• Estimate capital construction cost of the terminal, including estimates for different <br />terminal configurations <br />o Capital costs should be described in the year in which they are expected to <br />be incurred (after design, environmental review and permitting) <br />o Costs should be described in nominal, real, and discounted real dollars <br />• Evaluate cost to have floats for mix of different sized WETA vessels <br />• Evaluate the additional cost to include floats for City emergency response vessels <br />• Estimate operational costs, should include costs of providing the ferry service and <br />maintenance of public access facilities <br />o Costs should be described in nominal, real, and discounted real dollars <br />• Identify publicly funded commuter programs, such as shuttles, and estimate costs of <br />this service <br />• Review of current, planned, and potential vessel types within WETA's fleet <br />• Estimate on-going maintenance and rehabilitation costs, such as float maintenance, <br />dredging, etc. <br />• Number of ferries required to operate the service <br />• Potential ridership fees <br />Deliverable — Ferry Capital and Operations Costs Memoranda <br />Task 1.5 — Route Prioritization <br />Identify routes to a D/O's that would be compatible with a terminal in Redwood City. <br />Consider the following items: <br />• Competitiveness with single occupant vehicular travel or other transit serving a D/O <br />to / from Redwood City <br />o Including travel time to work and cost; fully -loaded cost for single occupant <br />vehicular travel (e.g. includes gas, maintenance, ownership, tolls — where <br />appropriate, parking) <br />• Identification of potential demand generators around D/O's and the Redwood City <br />terminal <br />• Include demographic data for areas around D/O's, including but not limited to <br />population, household income, job generators, etc. <br />• Discussion of strengths and weaknesses of D/O's <br />• Trip lengths including trips to the D/O's, ferry trips, and travel to destinations from <br />D/O's <br />Deliverable - Technical Memorandum — Route Prioritization <br />Page 10 of 17 <br />REV: 01-15-19 VR <br />ATTY/AGR.2019.016/CDM Smith <br />
