"'(d) The person applying for a temporary fire- works sales permit shall, at the time of application, submit for inspection the applicant's license issued by the State Fire Marshal, and (if applicable) furnish proof of coverage of such compensation insurance as is required by the S,tate of California for any employees of the applicant. The applicant shall file with the Chief a bond issued by an authorized surety company to be approved by the city, conditioned upon the appli- cant's payment, in at least the minimum amounts herein- after set forth, of all damages to persons or property, including loss of life and loss of use of property, which shall or may result from or be caused by the operation proposed to be permitted, or ahy negligcn~c C~ th~ p~rt of ,the':applicant,()r the .applicant' s agents, serVants, or employees in conducting such operation, or a certi- ficate evidencing the carrying of appropriate public liability insurance for the benefit of the applicant and the applicant's agents, servants and employees as evidence of ability to respond in damages in at least such amount, said insurance likewise to be approved by the City. The minimum amounts of coverage of such bond or insurance shall be as follows: (I) for personal .. injury or death: $100,000 for each person and $300,000 for each occurrence; (2) for property damage: $50,000 aggregate; provided, however, that the Chief may require greater amounts of coverage where the circumstances, in the opinion of the Chief, involve greater than ordinary risk to person or property. -10- .-
