<br />"I (e) Applications for temporary fireworks sales <br />per~nlits shall be made to the Fire Department on or <br /> <br />before the 15th day of June of the year for which appli- <br /> <br />cation to sell is made. At the time of the application, <br /> <br />the applicant for such permit permitting sales at retail <br /> <br />shall deposit with the City Collector the sum of $50 <br /> <br />which sum shall be refunded to the applicant upon (1) <br />denial of the application, or (2) compliance with the <br /> <br />provisions of subsection (g) (6) hereof relating to the <br />removal of unsold stock, litter, and structures. In <br /> <br />the event a permittee fails to comply with the require- <br />ments of said subsection' (g) (6), the aforesaid sum shall <br /> <br />be forfeited to the City as the reasonable cost to the <br /> <br />City of removing the matters itemized in said subsection. <br /> <br />"I (f) Temporary fireworks sales permits shall <br /> <br />not be transferabl~. Such permits shall not be r'9ne',.!2.ble, <br /> <br />but shall be valid only for the year in which issued. <br />.., (g) The Fire Chief shall disapprove the pro- <br /> <br />posed location of any temporary fireworks sales facility, <br /> <br />which, in his opinion, constitutes a fire hazard; or <br /> <br />shall disapprove such location upon the recommendation <br /> <br />of the Chief of Police if, in the opinion of the Chief <br /> <br />of Police, such location will constitute a traffic hazard. <br /> <br />"I (h) In addition to such other requirements or <br /> <br />conditions as in the opinion of the Chief are neces~ary <br /> <br />for the prevention of fire or the protection of life and <br /> <br />property, the following provisions shall apply to all <br /> <br />retail operations permitted by temporary fireworks <br /> <br />sales permits: <br /> <br />-11- <br /> <br />....:. i.- <br /><'1 <br />~- <br />
