<br />any person (including associations, corporations, clubs <br /> <br />or other organizations) to possess, store, offer for <br /> <br />sale, expose for sale, or sell at \'lholcsale or retail <br /> <br />any fireworks except pursuant" to a temporary fireworks <br /> <br />sales permit issued hereunder by the Chief. <br /> <br />" '(b) The Chief shall have the authority to <br /> <br />adopt reasonable rules and regulations for the granting <br /> <br />of temporary fireworks sales permits, and such permits <br /> <br />shall include such reasonable conditions and requirements <br /> <br />as, in the opinion of the Chief, are necessary or proper <br /> <br />to eliminate hazard to property or danger to any person. <br /> <br />'-.,. <br /> <br />" , (c) Temporary fireworks sales permits shall <br /> <br />1?ennit only the sale of II safe and sane" fire,'lOrks (as <br /> <br />that term is defined in ~12504 of the Health and safety <br /> <br />Code of the state of California). Such permits permi-1:ting <br /> <br />sales at retail shall permit such sales only during the <br /> <br />period which such fireworks may be sold or offered for <br /> <br />, <br />sale at retail pursuant to section 12703 of the Health <br /> <br />and Safety Code of the state of California. <br /> <br />III (d) The person applying for a temporary fireworks <br /> <br />sales permit shall, at the time of application, submit <br /> <br />for inspection the applIcant's license issued by the <br /> <br />state Fire Marshal, and (if applicable) furnish proof <br /> <br />of ~overage of such compensation insurance as is required <br /> <br />by the state of California for any employees of the <br /> <br />applicant.
