General Improvement Di.strict No. 1-'-64, a general improvement district duly organized and existing under the Redwood City General Improvement District Ordinance (being Ordinance No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all territory annexed to said District shall be included in Area B. ~(c) Area C: All premises located outside the City of Redwood City shall be included in Area C." SECTION 4. Section 27.12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 27.12 The following monthly charges are hereby established and levied upon all premises which are situate within service areas A and B of the City and which are receiving sewage service by direct connection to sewer facilities which are owned by and under the jurisdiction of the City: "(a) Residential Charge: Each separat.e private residential dv,relling unit or premise situat.e in Area A, $1.85 per month. Each separate private residcntial d\..'elling unit or premise si tUB te in Area B, $ 3.70 per month. "(b) Nonresident.ial Charge: Each premise situate within the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City devoted to other than private residential dwelling use shall pay a monthly charge based upon the number of cubic feet of effluent or waste matter deposited monthly in the sewer facilities of the City in accordance with the following cumulative schedule: provided, however, that in no case shall the charge for nonresidential premises be less than $1.85 per month in Area A or less than $3.70 per month in Area B: " (1) $0.1342 per 100 cubic feet for the first 121,143 cubic feet per month deposited in excess of 857 cubic feet. II (2) $0.1290 per 100 cubic feet for the next 268,000 cubic feet per month deposited in excess of 122,000 cubic feet. " (3) $0.0860 per 100 cubic feet for the next 167,000 cubic feet per month deposited in excess of 390,000 cubic f0ct. " (4) $0.0646 per 100 cubic feet for all in excess of 557,000 cubic feet per month." -3-
