SECTION 5. Section 27.12.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec.tion 27.12.1 Charges for sewage services and sewer facilities furnished by the City to premises situate in service area C are hereby established at two times the monthly rate estublished by the preceding section for similar premises situate in service area A." SECTION 6. Section 27.21 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 27.21 {a} It shall be unlawful for any person to make or cause to be made a connection to a public sewer or sewer lateral without first obtaining a written sewer connection permit from the Director of Public Works and paying the established fees for such connection as prescribed by Article VI of this chapter. No sewer connection permit shall be issued in any case where it is necessary to construct a sewer lateral unless the application required by subdivision {b} of this section has been made and approved. "(b) If no sewer lateral exists between the public sewer and the property line of the adjacent property to be served, a sewer lateral will be installed by the City upon the making and approval of an application to the office of the Director of Public Works requesting the installation of such lateral. The applicant shall, at the time applica- tion is made, pay to the City the sum of Five and 50/100 Dollars ($5.S0) per lineal foot of four inch vitrified clay lateral or Six Dollars ($6.00) per lineal foot of six inch vitrified clay lateral, whichever dimension is deemed necessary by the Director of Public \'lor}es.
