<br />portions of the sewer system upon which City funds are <br />expended to partially pay for the expense of construction <br />if the only purpose of the City's contribution to thc over-all <br />cost is to cause the construction of a larger sewer main <br />than would have been constructed without the City's <br />contribution. This section shall not be applicable to <br /> <br />portions of the sewer system upon which proceeds from any <br /> <br /> <br />bonds issued by or in connection with a general improvement <br /> <br />district are expended. <br /> <br /> <br />"(b) For purposes of this section, every public sewer <br /> <br /> <br />constructed prior to January 1, 1960, shall be presumed to <br /> <br />have been installed at the sole cost of the adjoining property <br /> <br /> <br />owners. The Director of Public Works shall maintain an <br /> <br /> <br />accurate record of all public sewers installed subsequent <br /> <br /> <br />to January 1, 1960, for the purpose of establishing a record <br /> <br /> <br />of those sewers, or specific portions of sewers, which have <br /> <br /> <br />been constructed at the City's expense. <br /> <br /> <br />" (c) In the event two public se\'>7ers are insta lIed <br /> <br /> <br />adjacent to each other in any publ.ic right of way, one of <br /> <br />which is installed at the City's expense and the other at <br /> <br /> <br />the expense of a subdivider, assessment district or otherwise <br /> <br />and the Director of Public Works determines that a connection <br /> <br />should be made to the sewer constructed at the City's expense, <br /> <br /> <br />the additional fee required by this section shall not be <br /> <br /> <br />applicable. II <br />SECTION 10. section 27.63 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 27.63 (a) In the event additional dwelling- <br /> <br /> <br />units are to be constructed which would increase the nurr~er <br /> <br />of dwelling units being served by a single sewer connection, <br /> <br />-9- <br />
