<br />addition to all other fees, be accompanied by a fee in the <br /> <br />amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), which fee shall <br /> <br /> <br />be refundable to the person making the payment (upon request <br /> <br /> <br />therefor made within one year after the date of annexation) <br /> <br /> <br />if the property for which the connection is applied for is <br /> <br />annexed to the City within two years aft~r the installation <br /> <br /> <br />of the water service connection. The fee required by this <br /> <br /> <br />section shall not be applicable to connections serving <br /> <br /> <br />property located in incorporated territory of another city." <br /> <br />"Section 38.13 (a) No water connec.tion permit shall <br /> <br /> <br />be issued after the effective date of this section to serve <br /> <br /> <br />any premises located in one water service area from water <br /> <br /> <br />facilities located in another water service area. For purposes <br /> <br />of this section, Areas A and C shall be deemed to be one area. <br /> <br /> <br />"(b) Notwithstanding the foregoing prohibition, and <br /> <br /> <br />upon application, the City Council may authorize the issuance <br /> <br /> <br />of a wa.ter connection permit to serve premises loc;:lted in <br /> <br /> <br />one water service area from water facilities located in <br /> <br /> <br />another water service area when it finds the existence of <br /> <br /> <br />exceptional or extraordinary conditions affecting such <br /> <br /> <br />premises. The authorization shall be made by resolution <br /> <br /> <br />and may be subject to such terms, conditions and fees as <br /> <br /> <br />the Council finds necessary or appropriate." <br /> <br />SECTION 6. Article IV (comnlencing at ~38.20) of Chapter 38 <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby added to said <br />Code to read as follows: <br />"Article IV. Water Fund. <br />"Section 38.20 A special fund to be known as the <br />Water Fund is hereby established.
