<br />" (c) <br />and <br />the <br />the <br /> <br />"later piping installed within a building <br />in or under a concrete floor slab resting on <br />ground shall be installed in accordance with <br />following requirements: <br /> <br />"(1) Ferrous piping shall have a protective coating <br />of an approved type, machine applied and co~forming <br />to recognized standards. Field wrapping shall <br />provide equivalent protection and is restricted <br />to those short sections and fittings necessarily <br />stripped for threading. Zinc coating (galvanizing) <br />shall not be deemed adequate protection for piping <br />or fittings. Approved non-ferrous piping need <br />not be wrapped. <br /> <br />"(2) Copper tubing shall be installed without <br />joints where possible. Where joints are permitted, <br />they shall be soldered with 95.5 solder using <br />fittings of wrought copper. <br /> <br />"(d) Inspection. No water supply system or <br />portion thereof, shall be covered or concealed <br />'until it first has been tested, inspected and <br />approved. <br /> <br />"(e) Testing. Before such approval, both hot <br />and cold water piping shall be subjected to a <br />full working water pressure test from the street <br />main or other source of supply, or to an air <br />pressure of not less than 50 pounds per square <br />inch for not less than 15 minutes.
