The charges specified are maximum charges <br /> <br />and the grantee may decrease such charges. <br /> <br />(b) At such time as jurisdiction for the setting of <br /> <br />rates is vested in the state of California or the United states <br /> <br />Government and such jurisdiction is exercised, the rates and <br /> <br />charges established by this section and Section 8 shall be of <br /> <br />no further force and effect. <br /> <br />(c) Schedule of rates and charges. <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />(l) Installation or connection deposit: The <br />maximum basic installation deposit that may <br />be required by the grantee shall be $9.50, <br />which amount shall be refundable as a credit <br />to the subscribing depositor against the . - <br />monthly service charge for the fifth and sixth <br />months of service.
