Mr. Brian Lee <br />September 25, 2000 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Not included in this proposal is the following: <br />1. No geotechnical studies. It is assumed that the City will provide the structural section for the <br /> street. <br />2. No landscaping or irrigation plans, and no street lighting plans. <br />3. No plans for the following facilities: <br /> · Electrical <br /> · Telephone <br /> · Cable T.V. <br /> · Fiber Optics <br /> <br /> It is assumed the City will have these facilities undergrounded and designed by others. <br /> <br />4. No attempt will be made to accurately determine existing utility locations and depth since the <br /> existing will be replaced by undergrounding all facilities. For purposes of removal, the existing <br /> utilities will be assumed to be as shown on the previous plans developed in 1987. <br />5. Water, and Sewer will be as shown on the previous plans and updated according to City <br /> standards. <br />6. No right of way, property line, or other boundary work is included in this proposal. The street <br /> right of way will be determined from records and as indicated on the ground by fencing, <br /> sidewalk, curbs, etc. <br />7. No record of survey is included in this proposal. <br /> 8. Any work which is not specifically included in this Scope of Work. <br /> <br /> Task 1 - Base Mapping <br /> Base mapping will be prepared by aerial photogrammetry and supplemented with ground surveys. <br /> The aerial photogrammetry will be prepared at 1" = 20' scale and with 1 ft. contour intervals. Spot <br /> elevations will be shown near the property line. Control will be provided by Wilsey Ham. <br /> <br /> Supplemental stzrveying will be done for those areas which cannot be seen aerially such as under <br /> trees, overhangs, etc. The bottom (invert) elevations of underground facilities which are accessible <br /> will be determined. The control will be verified. <br /> <br /> The base mapping and surveys will cover Roosevelt Avenue and 50 ft. into the side streets for <br /> conform areas. It will also include up to 30 ft. beyond the right of way along Roosevelt Avenue. <br /> <br /> Task 2 - Layout Plans <br /> The street development plans will be prepared on plan/profile at 1": 20' scale. Existing facilities <br /> will be shown as "dropout". Facilities to be constructed w/il be shown solid. City drafting standards <br /> will be utilized for linework and symbols.
