Mr. Brian Lee <br />September 25, 2000 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Task 3 - Sewers <br />The sewer system has been previously designed. The previous design will be included in the <br />contract plans. Minor changes will be incorporated into these contract plans, such as a change in <br />pipe material, any major changes which involve redesign of the system or any appreciable portion <br />thereof, or any changes requested after the 35% review will be considered as extra work. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Water Lines <br />The water system has been previously designed. The previous design will be included in the <br />contract plans. Minor changes will be incorporated into these contract plans, such as changes in the <br />pipe size as determined by the City. Any major changes which involve a redesign of the system or <br />any appreciable portion thereof, or any changes requested after 35O/o review will be considered as <br />extra work. <br /> <br />Task $ - Drainage <br />Drainage from property to street will be maintained. City standards for minimum grades and cross <br />slopes will be adhered to. A new drainage system will be established to provide drainage facilities <br />for the new street cross section. <br /> <br />Task 6 - Signals <br />New signals will be designed for the Valota Avenue intersection. <br /> <br /> Task7 - Coordination <br /> Wilsey Ham will provide coordination with the City and with its subconsultant, RKH. City will <br /> coordinate the work of other consultants or agencies it has contracted with for various work which <br /> affect the project. <br /> <br /> Wilsey Ham will supply base mapping and the project layout plans to the City for their coordination <br /> with others. <br /> <br /> Task 8 - PS&E <br /> The plans, specifications and Engineers estimate will be compiled by Wilsey Ham. Wilsey Ham will <br /> coordinate PS&E by RKH and will include the undergrounding and lighting PS&E provided by the <br /> City in hard copy signed and in disk form. The Tide Sheet will be prepared for the total project. <br /> <br /> The civil plans will include the typical section sheet and special details.
