<br />II (b) Each application for an excavation permit in a <br /> <br />street or alley shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable fee <br /> <br />of Five Dollars ($5.00) and shall contain such information <br /> <br />as determined necessary by the City Engineer to determine <br /> <br />the location of work, the type and dimension of the pipe, <br /> <br />conduit, track or other faCility, the method of doing the <br /> <br />work and the materials to be utilized in restoring the <br /> <br />surface of the street or alley. <br />II (c) Each application for an excavation permit in any <br />other easement or right of way shall be accompanied by a <br />nonrefundable fee of Two Dollars ($2.00) and shall contain <br /> <br />such information as determined necessary by the City Engineer <br /> <br />to assure that any work performed, or any facility installed, <br /> <br />will not be inconsistent with or damage any existing or <br /> <br />prospective public facility in, or public use of, the ease- <br /> <br />ment or right of way. <br /> <br />"Section 29.47 <br /> <br />The City Engineer shall establish <br /> <br />such conditions for the permit as he finds necessary to <br /> <br />protect the public using the easement or right of way and <br /> <br />to protect present or prospective public improvements which <br /> <br />may be maintained therein. In addition to other appropriate <br /> <br />conditions, the following may be established: <br /> <br />II (a) The time and dates on which the work may be done. <br /> <br />neb) The supervision and safety precautions to be <br />employed, including the erection of barricades, <br />warning lights, signals and signs, and the <br />employment of personnel to direct traffic. <br /> <br />II (c) The number of calendar days, not to exceed 180, <br />for which the permit will be valid. <br /> <br />II (d) Tha t, in the case of a street or alley, the <br />applicant furnish complete plans, prOfiles and <br />specifications prepared by a licensed civil <br />engineer for all the work. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
