The result will be a <br /> "bubble diagram" at a site planning level. <br /> <br />Commun!ty ~ru~: Present 2 Options to the Community <br />The Consultant team will prepare for, facilitate and document a CommUmty Forum <br />o Present the 2 Narrative Alternatives and Site Fit Diagrams <br />o Solicit Feedback on the 2 Narrative Alternatives and Site Fit Diagrams <br /> <br />Complete 2 Alternates and Cost Modeling <br />The Consultant Team will develop, with input and guidance fi.om the Core Team as to desired standard of quality <br />and preferred materials and finishes, a Conceptual Cost Model associated with the proposed joint library. <br />The Consultant team will prepare preliminary Cost Models, based on the 2 Site Fit Diagrams <br />o The Consultant Team will develop a range of potential construction costs based upon realistic dollar per square <br /> foot costs associated with similar, recent buildings constructed in the region, or if constructed outside the region <br /> then adjusted for local cost factors. <br />o The Consultant Team will develop a Total Project Cost projection to include construction, as well as other, <br /> related costs normally incurred in the design and construction ora building. For example, professional services, <br /> permits and fees, insurance, financing costs, taxes, city management costs, contingencies, escalation, etc. <br />D The Consultant Team will develop conceptual operating costs for the joint library, based upon the proposed <br /> operational and organizational model and locally recognized costs for service delivery. <br /> Based on Client-provided reports such as geotechnical reports and a topographical and boundary survey. <br />o Based on preliminary costs/square foot for construction items, yielding a potential Construction Cost for each of <br /> the two options. <br /> <br />Core Team Meeting 7: Direction on Preferred 0Pt!gn <br />The Consultant team will prepare for, facilitate and document a Core Team meeting to include: <br /> Obtain direction on preferred alternative <br /> Obtain interpretation and direction of comment inclusion from Community Forum and Advisory Committee <br /> Meeting <br /> <br />Receive Final Geotechnical Reports <br />The Client will provide a preliminary and final geotechnical report for use on this project. <br /> <br />City of Redwood City Council Meeting: Status Update <br />The Consultant team will prepare for, and attend a Meeting with the City Council <br />o Progress Status Presentation for the City Council <br /> <br />Regulatory Meeting: BCDC Draft Application <br />The Consultant team will prepare for, facilitate and document a Meeting with BCDC <br />o Review Draft Application Pi'ogress with BCDC <br /> <br />Conceptual Design and Outline Specification <br />The Consultant team will create the Conceptual Design documents package, as described in the deliverables section <br />o These are the basic requirements for the California State Grant Application.
