Proposal for Professional Services <br /> Redwood City Branch Library in Redwood Shores <br /> Page 10 of 14 <br /> September 13, 2002 <br /> <br />Reimbursable Expenses <br /> Reimbursable expenses are in addition to the Architect's compensation and are actual expenditures made by <br /> Anderson Brul~ Architects, Inc., in the interest of the project. These expenses will be included on invoices at their <br /> direct cost plus 10% and include, according to the terms of the attached Terms and Conditions. <br /> <br /> Anderson Bmle Architects, Inc., proposes the following allowances for Reimbursable Expenses: <br /> <br /> Scope Description Allowance <br /> ~eetings ~ 750.00 <br /> Phase 1 $ 4,750.00 <br /> Phase 2 $ 5,200.00 <br /> <br /> $ 10,700.00 <br /> <br />Assumptions <br /> 1. The City of Redwood City is responsible for processing the proposed project through the CEQA regulatory <br /> process as lead agency. The architect will provide drawings and documentation conmaensurate with the project <br /> progress. It is assumed that no additional drawings or documentation will be provided for the CEQA process <br /> other than what is required within this proposal. <br /> 2. To be confirmed: The only regulatory process that is required to be completed for the Grant Application is the <br /> CEQA Negative Declaration or Notice of Deterrmnation. It is assumed that City of Redwood City Planning <br /> staff will facilitate this process as lead agency, and that they wiI1 require 16 weeks, taking 2 preliminary <br /> alternate site fit diagrams as the deliverable for this use. <br /> 3. The City of Redwood City has proposed that City Staff will accomplish several work tasks. ABA assumes in <br /> this proposal that the work provided by City Staff is accomplished in a timely manner, and that ABA is able to <br /> fully rely on the timeliness, accuracy and quality level of this work. <br /> 4. Since information regarding the Redwood Shores Homeowner's Association review process was not available <br /> at the time of proposal, this proposal assumes to include 2 meetings with the Homeowner's Association, and <br /> that drawings and documentation required for the Homeowner's Associate is assumed to be the same <br /> documentation and drawings used in City of Redwood City Planning and Redevelopment and/or Architectural <br /> Review comrmttee reviews. <br /> <br /> Sincerely, <br /> ANDERSON BRULf: ARCHITECTS, INC. <br /> <br /> Brad Cox, AIA <br /> Project Manager <br /> <br /> Attached: Terms and Conditions <br /> <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> <br />
