WHEREAS, the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />issued municipal stormwater NPDES permit CA0029921 and corresponding <br />Waste Discharge Requirements for all of the municipalities in San Mateo County <br />on September 15, 1993, which remain in effect for five years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the NPDES permit requires that all of the municipalities in <br />San Mateo County reapply for reissuance of their municipal stormwater NPDES <br />permit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Technical Advisory Committee for the San Mateo <br />Countywide Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program prepared a San Mateo <br />Countywide Stormwater Management Plan for the period July 1, 1998 - June 30, <br />2003, and compiled other information needed to reapply for NPDES permit <br />reissuance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the San Mateo Countywide Stormwater Management Plan <br /> 1998-2003 provides for continuation of the stormwater pollution prevention and <br /> control activities and costs that are currently being implemented; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
