Actual costs to and from destination not to exceed a maximum computed at a <br /> rate not to exceed current 1~RS mileage reimbursement limits for miles traveled <br /> both within and outside the City by carrier service, including any privately- <br /> owned conveyance; provided, however, for travel to and from destination in <br /> excess of three hundred (300) miles, said maximum shall not exceed actual air <br /> coach fare when such fare is less than the amount computed at the aforesaid <br /> rates. For the purposes of this Section, the actual cost of miles, actually <br /> traveled by privately-owned conveyance, including cost of fuel, maintenance, <br /> repairs, insurance and depreciation, shall be deemed equal to the maximum <br /> allowance provided for in this Section. <br /> <br />7.17 Sick Leave Compensation (see Section 18.1.5) <br /> <br />7.18 Holiday Compensation (see Section 8.5) <br /> <br />7.19 Administrative Holiday Compensation (see Section 8.5) <br /> <br />7.20 Bilingual Differential <br /> <br /> Employees who are assigned to job duties requiring bilingual skills are eligible <br /> to receive a two and one-half percent (2-1/2%) pay differential for the use of <br /> bilingual skills in job duties arising during the normal course of work. <br /> <br /> The Human Resources Director, on the basis of an oral proficiency test <br /> developed and administered by the City, shall determine eligibility for the <br /> bilingual pay differential. To retain the 2.5% differential, employees will be <br /> required to pass the City's bi-annual bilingual proficiency test. <br /> <br /> Bilingual skills shall not be a condition of employment except for employees <br /> who are hired specifically with that requirement. If a employee is hired under <br /> this provision, that requirement shall be included in the initial appointment <br /> letter. <br /> <br /> The City has the dght to discontinue the bilingual differential at any time based <br /> on changes to the business needs, provided that the City gives the exclusive <br /> representative ten (10) days notice prior to such revocation, in order to allow <br /> the opportunity for the parties to meet and confer. <br /> <br /> SECTZON 8 - HOLZDAYS <br /> <br />8.1 Paid Holidays <br /> <br /> The following shall be paid holidays to all employees who are covered by this <br /> MOU: <br /> <br /> 1.
