6. DATES AND TIMES: The festival will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00
<br /> P.M. on Saturday, September 13, 1997. Booth set up will occur the day of
<br /> the event.
<br /> ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SALES WILL NOT BE SOLD OR SERVED AT
<br /> THE EVENT.
<br />
<br />7. INSURANCE: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and
<br /> property damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, it Council,
<br /> boards, commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as
<br /> insureds, or additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for
<br /> personal injury or death to any person or persons resulting or arising from
<br /> the conducting of the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have
<br /> resulted or alleged to have arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to
<br /> act, of Permittee in connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for
<br /> each person and $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage
<br /> insurance for damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the
<br /> loss of use thereof, in the amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such
<br /> insurance coverage in form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by
<br /> Permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the
<br /> event.
<br />
<br />8. DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY: Permittee shall reimburse the City for
<br /> the costs for any damage to City owned property, caused by or arising out
<br /> of, the conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or
<br /> omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other
<br /> markings placed in or upon public property, including the public right-of-
<br /> way in connection with the activity shall be removed immediately following
<br /> said event.
<br />
<br />9. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate
<br /> and applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the
<br /> conducting of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This
<br /> permit shall be in addition to all other permits, which are or may be
<br /> required for conducting said event, or any activity associated therewith.
<br />
<br /> 10. HOLD HARMLESS: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify
<br /> and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br /> commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions,
<br /> damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or
<br /> nature whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or
<br /> failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or
<br /> arising out of said event herein permitted.

<br /> 11. CITY SERVICES: The City agrees to provide the following:
