He is concerned with the sa#ety <br /> of cars going through neighborhoods for a shortcut. <br /> Fran Free, resident, believes a solution has to take place at the existing light on Union Avenue. <br /> She would like the gas station to be taken over to a{law access for in at out traffic at the new <br /> project. <br /> Robert Sullivan, resident, is one of the residents immediately behind the projec# and is <br /> concerned that their sunlight will be taken away and would like to see a smaller project. <br /> Chris Wuthmann, warks with the deve{oper and designed the Pacific Hacienda in San Carlos. <br /> He stated that CC8�R's will limit the number of vehicles owned by owners. <br /> Robert Stafford, states that this is the best looking building on Woodside Road and wauld allow <br /> housing in Redwood City. <br /> James Ferry, resident, had three cflncerns: privacy, noise and sunlight and the property vaiue <br /> will change greatly. <br /> Po Chiu, resident, recalied a long term nursing care facility was a#the proposed project site and <br /> the ingress/egress to that facility was from Woodside Road not from Horgan Avenue. He also <br /> stated that #he 45% increase in traffic for the last project on the site Maureen mentioned is <br /> incorrect. <br /> Robin Sequeira, resident, stated that it is not a fair comparison using this project and the Pacific <br /> Hacienda in San Carl�s. <br /> Richard Sequeira, resident, stated that the impact of this project is damaging to the <br /> neighborhood. Homes cannot be sold in the neighborhood and Woodside Road in this area is a <br /> hazard and needs much mare intense input#rom the community. <br /> Joe Reich, resident, he is concerned about the pla_yground on Newcastle Street and the project <br /> is too big and traffic is an issue. <br /> Cathy Oyster, resident and business owner in Redwood City, stated that change is coming and <br /> Woodside will increase no matter what is done to fhe property and thinks the project is a good <br /> idea. <br /> Danielie Draper, resident, stated that safety is a critical issue to consider. <br /> Gerard Zeinick, resident, asked what would go inta the gas station spat if it goes away. He was <br /> also concerned about the ground wa#er cantamination and soil contamination regarding the <br /> underground parking. He also asked where the car wash employees will park. <br /> Gerald Yates, �eve�oper, apologized regarding the analysis of other uses of the sites. Privacy <br /> of the residences on the east side was considered, that is why there was an increase in the <br /> setback of the condo units and several balconies were ratated away from that area. Regarding <br /> the sunlight issue, a solar study was dane and the analysis stated that#he biggest impacts were <br /> �o the west side in late afternoon and summer. He also mentioned that the parking garage is <br /> only ane story down. <br /> Carol Chetrit, resident, stated �hat traffic and car placement is an issue and speed bumps are <br /> not a solu#ion. <br /> ?age 6 of 12 <br />
