As part ofthis consultation,LSA wiIl (1)request fron�the NAHC'a list oftribal organizations with traditionai lands in the City's jurisdiction; and(2)notify such organizations in writing,of the opportunity to consult with the Gity under the requirements of SB 18.Although Government Code §65352.4 specifies that consulta#ion is to occur between the local government and the tribe, L5A, which has extensive experience in working with tz-iba] or�anizations, can assist ihe City will�such consultation. 8. The project will add 144 new dwelting units and an eic�rnentary school for u�to 450 students.This project also includes a neighborhood park and pubEic trails which may generate traffic related to recreational visitors. "I'he site improvements wiil include constructing new driveways or roadway intersections along Marine Parkway and Shearwater Parkway.The school will raise issues of impacts from inereased traffic and concerns about safe routes to and from the school. Fel�r and Peers, Inc, is preparing for the applicant a comprehensive traffic study to evaluate the impac�s of the proposed project and the widening improvements which �nay be necessary for ShearwatEx Parkway.
