Matters pertaining to the recreational activities and programs for the citizens of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> Sec. 25.4.02 Members-number; appointment: The Parks, Recreation, and <br /> Community Services Commission shall consist of seven (7) members to be appointed by the <br /> City Council. {Ord. No. 525, § 1; Ord. No. 752) <br /> Sec. 25.4.03 Members-term of office; Appointment to fil( vacancy; <br /> Conipensation: The term of office of each member af the Parks, 2ecreatic�n, and <br /> Community Services Commission shall be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the faurth <br /> year; provided, however, that appointments to the Commission shall be made such that <br /> terms shalf expire in even-numbered years. Members shall continue to serve until their <br /> respective successors are appointed and qualified. In case ofi vacancy in the Commission, <br /> irrespective of cause, a successor shall be appointed by the Council for the unexpired term <br /> of such member. Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation. (Ord. No. <br /> 2273, § 3, 9-27-20Q4: Ord. No. 525, § 1; Ord. No. 752; Ord. No. 2121, § 4, 1-6-1997) <br /> Sec. 25.4.04 Members-righ##o vote: All members af the Parks, Recreation, and <br /> Community Services Commission will have the right to vote an all submitted motions at all <br /> meetings. Na. 525, § 4} <br /> Sec. 25.4.05 Meetings-Time of Regular Meetings: Open to Public: Regular <br /> meetings of the Parks, Recrea#ian, and Community Services Commission shall be held once <br /> a month. All meetings shall be apen to the public. (Ord. Na. 525, § 3; Ord. No. 942, § 1; Ord. <br /> No. 998, § 24; Ord. No. 1312, § 1} <br /> Sec. 25.4.06 Meetings-may requ"rre services ofi City Officials: The Commission <br /> shall have available to it as it may require, the services of the City Engineer, City Attorney, <br /> Director and other department heads who may be required to attend a meeting of the <br /> Commission to furnish technical advice and services, subject to their prior engagement in <br /> other pubiic duties. Na. 998, � 2�} <br /> Sec. 25.4.07 Officers-designafion; Term of office; Election: The officers of the <br /> Parks, Recreation, and Cammunity Services Commission shall be a chairperson and a vice <br /> chairperson, each of whom shall serve for a period of one year. Yearly elections shall be <br /> held by the Commission to elect such officers. (Ord. No. 525, § 2) <br /> Sec. 25.4.08 Officers-duties: The duties of the various officers of the Parks, <br /> Recreation, and Community Services Commission shall be as follows: <br /> A.
