Driveway Operations <br /> Block 1 <br /> The driveway into the pazldng garage on Block 1 will be locaud on Jefferson Avenue, approximately <br /> midway between Broadway and Middlefield Road. <br /> Level of service calculations were conducted to evaluate driveway operations. The results indicate that <br /> the lefr turn movemenu into the site will ope�au at LOS B or better with all three pazldng space alterna- <br /> tives under both Friday evening and Sahaday afternoon peak hoiu conditions. During the Friday evening <br /> peak hour, the teft tum movements out of the site aze projected to operate at LOS C with the 315-space <br /> alternative, LOS E under the 550-space altcmative, and LOS F under the 690-space alternative. The LOS <br /> E and F operations will result in queuing on the project site (i.e., to eacit the pazking guage). The maxi- <br /> mum queue (at LOS F) is projected to be five vehicles; this impact is not considered significant, however, <br /> notwithstanding the tevel of service designation, because it would not affect uaffic operations on the pub- <br /> lic street system. <br /> During the Saturday aftemoon peak hour, the left tum movemenis out of the site are projected to operate <br /> at LOS B with the 315-space altemative and LOS C with the 550-space and 690-space alternatives. <br /> 17 <br />
