T'he figures in Table 6 yield the following conclusions about the parldng impacts of the revised project: • With 315 parldng spaces included, the revised project would grneiate pazldng deficits d�sing six one-hour periods: three dtmng the aftemoon, between 1:00 and 4:00 PM, and three during the eve- ning, between 7:00 and 10:00 PM. The peak deficit during the afrernoon would be 107 spaces, between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. This deficit is smaller than the anricipated peak deficit for the approved project, which would be 263 spaces and would also occur between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. The peak deficit during the ovening would be 304 pazldng spaces, between 8:00 and 9:00 PM on a Friday evrning when there is a sold-out event at the Fox Theater 6 For comparison, the approved project would create no parldng deficiu on Friday evenings. • With 550 pazking spaces included, the revised project would gene:ate parldng deficits during one hour, between 8:00 and 9:00 PM. This deficit would total 69 spaces. • With 690 parking spaces included, the revised project would generate no pazking deficits. _ 6 On a sellout evrning the Fox would require an estimated 438 parking spaces. As a matter of pracnce, some of this parking demand is accommodated in parking facilities other then those mcluded in this invrntory (e.g., the Caltrain lot or Sam7'rans parking facilities, and perhaps some private lots). 21
