City Services Requested (bv DeAartment~ <br />6.1C <br />Page 15 <br />City Manager or other applicable Department <br />Notify all business operators in the Festival area about the street closures and no parking times. <br />Advise all business operators in the Festival area who are engaged in the sale/or distribution of food <br />and alcoholic beverages to maintain compliance with various permits issued by the San Mateo <br />County Health Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. <br />Allow the PCA exclusive use of the kiosks in the Court House Square as reception areas for event <br />sponsors, VIPs, and Miss California. <br />Allow the PCA exclusive use of the Hamilton Street parking lot for Festival vendors and to suspend <br />the payment of parking fees during this time. <br />Parks and Recreation: <br />Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking structure after 6 PM on July 3 and leave open until <br />normal operations on July 5. Use of parking structure on Marshall Street will be designated for <br />Handicap and Vendor parking on Wednesday, July 4 from 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 3 unti18:00 PM <br />Wednesday, July 4. <br />Public Works: <br />Provide electrical connections on both sides of the Court House Square for use by food vendors. <br />Each connection-must have 8 standard 110v 20amp outlets with individual circuit breakers. The <br />PCA will provide distribution cables to the vendor booths. <br />Provide 4 electrical connections in the Court House Square for music entertain and PA equipment. <br />Each connection must have a standard 1 l Ov 20amp outlet. The PCA will provide distribution cables <br />as needed. <br />Street sweeping is requested for the Festival area at approximately 7:00 PM after the Festival has <br />closed on Wednesday, July 4. <br />It is requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin until 7: 00 PM to allow vendors to <br />complete their breakdown and leave the area <br />All city owned trash receptacles in the Festival area should be covered and not used. These <br />containers have too little capacity to be effective in the collection of food and beverage containers. <br />The PCA will provide large capacity (45 gal.) portable trash containers. These containers will be <br />emptied on a routine basis as need during the hours of the Festival operation. <br />Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Festival areas, and other traffic diversion requirements <br />as determined by the Police Department.
