Advise all business operators in the Festival area who are engaged in the sale/or distribution of food and alcoholic beverages to maintain compliance with various permits issued by the San Mateo County Health Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Allow the PCA exclusive use of the kiosks in the Court House Square as reception areas for event sponsors, VIPs, and Miss California. Allow the PCA exclusive use of the Hamilton Street parking lot for Festival vendors and to suspend the payment of parking fees during this time. Parks and Recreation: Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking structure after 6 PM on July 3 and leave open until normal operations on July 5. Use of parking structure on Marshall Street will be designated for Handicap and Vendor parking on Wednesday, July 4 from 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 3 unti18:00 PM Wednesday, July 4. Public Works: Provide electrical connections on both sides of the Court House Square for use by food vendors. Each connection-must have 8 standard 110v 20amp outlets with individual circuit breakers. The PCA will provide distribution cables to the vendor booths. Provide 4 electrical connections in the Court House Square for music entertain and PA equipment. Each connection must have a standard 1 l Ov 20amp outlet. The PCA will provide distribution cables as needed. Street sweeping is requested for the Festival area at approximately 7:00 PM after the Festival has closed on Wednesday, July 4. It is requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin until 7: 00 PM to allow vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the area All city owned trash receptacles in the Festival area should be covered and not used. These containers have too little capacity to be effective in the collection of food and beverage containers. The PCA will provide large capacity (45 gal.) portable trash containers. These containers will be emptied on a routine basis as need during the hours of the Festival operation. Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Festival areas, and other traffic diversion requirements as determined by the Police Department. The PCA will provide a list of times, locations, and quantity of barricades needed for the Festival. Allow the use of a Fire Hydrant for Antique Fire Truck demonstration in the Festival Area following the Parade on July 4.
