<br />6.11 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Do not accept this agreement and require that the City of Redwood City maintain the <br />role as Lead Agency for this project. In this case, the City will need to hire an <br />environmental review consultant and manage the CEQA process. <br /> <br />Accept this agreement with modiflcations. In this case, the District will need to consider <br />the amended agreement and take new action with respect to it. <br /> <br />FISCAl IMPACT <br /> <br />Environmental review for this project is estimated to cost approximately $40,000. The <br />District will pay all of the cost of this environmental review whether or not they are the <br />Lead Agency. The fiscal impact is thus limited to the City's participation in reviewing the <br />associated work as a Responsible Agency. The Planning Division also anticipates hiring <br />a contract planner to help with this review and District staff have agreed to pay for those <br />services.
