<br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> <br />6.11 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT DESIGNATING SAN MATEO COMMUNITY COLLEGE <br />DISTRICT AS LEAD AGENCY FOR CANADA COLLEGE <br />FACULTY/STAFF HOUSING PROJECT <br /> <br />This agreement is made and entered into as of the _ day of <br /> <br />, 2007, by <br /> <br />and between the San Mateo County Community College District (hereinafter "District") <br />and the City of Redwood City (hereinafter "City"), a charter city and municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, under Title 14 California Code of Regulations <br /> <br />section 15051 (d), designating the District as Lead Agency under the California <br /> <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the Canada COllege Faculty/Staff Housing Project <br />(hereinafter "Project"). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Project site is currently located within the corporate limits of the <br />Town of Woodside adjacent to the Redwood City corporate boundary, and the District <br />desires to develop the Project within the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, development of the Project requires the following discretionary <br /> <br />actions by various jurisdictions and/or agencies: <br /> <br />1. Approval of and funding for the Project by the District Board of Trustees. <br /> <br />2. Detachment of the Project site from the Town of Woodside and amendment <br /> <br />of its Sphere of Influence. <br /> <br />3. Pre-zoning of Project site by City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />4. Annexation of Project site into City of Redwood City and amendment of its <br /> <br />Sphere of Influence. <br /> <br />5. General Plan Amendment for Project site by City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />6. Parcel map to accommodate project site and boundary change by City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br />7.
