<br />construction contractor shall be made responsible for submitting traffic control plans for <br />review and approval during the construction. <br /> <br />. Major relocation of existing utilities is not included, unless specifically identified herein. <br />If utility relocations are identified during preliminary design, they would constitute <br />"additional services". Incidental relocation of existing utilities (less than 1 0 If per <br />location and less than 8-inch diameter) is included. <br /> <br />. The design of crnew booster pump station and storage tank are not included. <br /> <br />. The design of a new bridge over Redwood Creek is not included. <br /> <br />. It is assumed that no environmental conditions exist that warrant the use of personal <br />protective measures over and beyond Level D. <br /> <br />City Provided Design Information <br /> <br />. For Bid Packages 6, 7, and 9, the City has requested that geotechnical investigations be <br />omitted from the scope of services for this Project and that City standard details and <br />specifications be used for materials, trenching, bedding and backfill in City streets. The <br />City will provide up to four geotechnical reports per bid package for sites within the <br />Project area. These reports, other reports prepared for the current SBSA work, and the <br />details and specifications developed for Bid Packages 1 through 5 will be used in the <br />Project design. If additional geotechnical information is required, then a separate scope <br />of work for this task will be developed and submitted for City approval. <br /> <br />. Soil resistivity surveys, stray current evaluations and other corrosion related evaluations <br />and design work are not included in the scope at the request of the City. The standard <br />corrosion control specifications and design details developed for Bid Packages 1 through <br />5 will be used in the Project design. <br /> <br />. Kennedy/Jenks Consultants' design and other work that is based on geotechnical, soil <br />resistivity and other information provided by the City or others shall be correct to the best <br />of Kennedy/Jenks Consultants' knowledge and belief. <br /> <br />City Provided Services <br /> <br />. Environmental (CEQAlNEP A) related work and reporting has been previously performed <br />by the City, and the mitigation requirements will be incorporated into the design and <br />technical specifications. <br /> <br />. Kennedy/Jenks Consultant will assist permit coordination and acquisition for Union <br />Pacific Railroad, Caltrans, Department ofFish and Game, and Army Corp of Engineers. <br />Permit coordination and acquisition will be provided by the City for design fieldwork and <br />construction of pipelines in City rights-of-way. <br /> <br />Agreement over $10K <br />KennedyJenks Rev-2 112603 <br /> <br />13 <br />
