<br />Task 1.4 - Purple Team Meetings <br /> <br />Consultant shall participate in twice monthly Purple Team Meetings. It is anticipated that 12, <br />two-hour-Iong Purple Team Meetings will held over a 24-month period (design and <br />construction). Consultant's project manager will attend each meeting. <br /> <br />Task 1.5 - QA/QC Program <br /> <br />Consultant shall dev~Jop and execute a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/Qc) Program <br />specific to this project. Quality reviews will be conducted prior to the Preliminary, 90%, and <br />100% submittals. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Preliminary Design <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide the following work that constitutes a preliminary level of design <br />development: <br /> <br />1. Research and obtain utility record drawings and other pertinent right-of-way and utility <br />information. City will coordinate access to City files. <br /> <br />2. Perform field investigations of the proposed pipeline alignment, including up to two days of <br />walking the alignment with City staff. <br /> <br />3. Refine the design criteria to address potential settlement issues along Chesapeake Drive, <br />Penobscot Drive, and Saginaw Drive. <br /> <br />4. Identify utility conflicts along the proposed alignment, and identify up to fifteen utility <br />locations for potholing. <br /> <br />5. Review up to four existing geotechnical investigations provided by City, surveyor, and <br />geotechnical engineer, and incorporate the City's standard pipe installation and corrosion <br />protection details into the design. Per the City's request, neither a geotechnical investigation <br />nor a corrosion evaluation will be conducted for this project. <br /> <br />6. Develop plan sheets for the pipelines, showing existing utilities and the proposed alignments, <br />at I-inch equals 20 feet scale. Hand drawn sketches of alignment alternatives may also be <br />periodically submitted for City review. Traffic patterns and bus route information provided <br />by City will be considered when developing alignments. <br /> <br />7. Review the permit requirements for the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), and participate in <br />one meeting with UPRR. <br /> <br />8. Prepare a preliminary design level opinion of probable construction costs. <br /> <br />9.
