<br />Task 2 - Preliminary Design <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide the work that constitutes a preliminary level of design development, <br />using the same scope of work as for Bid Package 6 excepted as noted below: <br /> <br />1. Coordinate surveying and mapping to be performed by our subcontractor, Bohley Consulting: <br /> <br />a. Prepare plats and legal descriptions across the lands of the San Mateo County Jail, <br />Docktown, Peninsula Park, and up to two other locations (not to exceed 500 lineal feet <br />each), for the proposed construction of recycled water lines. The following items will be <br />provided by the City and/or the Consultant: <br /> <br />1) A preliminary title report of the properties through which the recycled water line <br />traverses will be provided by the City. <br /> <br />2) The actuallocation(s) of the recycled water lines and any laterals there from in <br />Autocad format will be provided by the Consultant. <br /> <br />b. The width(s) of the proposed easements will be provided by the Consultant with input by <br />the City. <br /> <br />2. Review the permit requirements for the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), Caltrans, <br />Department of Fish and Game, and Army Corp of Engineers, and participate in one meeting <br />with each. <br /> <br />Task 3 - 90 Percent Design <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide the following work which constitutes a 90% level of design <br />development: <br /> <br />1. Coordinate potholing activities at up to 15 locations. <br /> <br />2. Prepare plan and profile drawings for up to 4,500 If of 24-inch distribution pipelines at 1" = <br />20'. <br /> <br />3. Prepare plan and profile drawing for up to 1 ,300 lineal feet of 8-inch to 24-inch branch <br />pipelines at 1" = 20'. <br /> <br />4. Prepare detail drawings. <br /> <br />5. Prepare general drawings. <br /> <br />6. Prepare pipeline trench cross-sections (up to 3) with respect to adjacent utilities for review by <br />the City. <br /> <br />7.
