<br />7A <br />Page 41 <br /> <br />54. The hours of loading dock operations are approved as requested from 4:00 <br />AM - 10:00 AM Monday - Sunday. Truck deliveries may also occur after <br />10:00 AM but shall cease by 2:00 PM to ensure that these deliveries do not <br />occur during the afternoon peak traffic conditions. <br /> <br />55. The applicant shall ensure that delivery trucks adhere to approved truck <br />routes and do not use adjacent residential streets. Store management shall <br />provide contact information to any individual requesting it for the sake of <br />reporting the location of Costco delivery trucks that are not conforming to this <br />requirement. <br /> <br />56. Delivery truck idling time is limited to five minutes. <br /> <br />57. Initially, employee parking areas shall hot be designated; however, <br />employees shaH be instructed to park in the stalls that would be least <br />desirable to customers. Site plan review indicates that these stalls are those <br />located in the following areas: the parallel stalls along the east side of the <br />building and the stalls on the south side of the site behind the building and on <br />the Joint Powers Board .Iease parcel. <br /> <br />58. Costco shall implement a transportation demand management (TOM) <br />program for its employees to encourage the use of alternate commute modes. <br />. Costeo store managers shall enforce these employee parking <br />requirements and shall monitor the parking lot to ensure that all <br />abandoned vehicles are promptly towed. <br />. Costeo shall provide fully subsidized transit passes (SamTrans and <br />CalTrain) for all employees requesting passes. <br />. Costeo shall assist employees with carpool formation. <br />. Costco shall offer a "guaranteed ride home" program for all employees <br />using transit or bikes for commuting in the event that an employee <br />requires immediate transportation to attend to a personal or family <br />emergency. <br />. Costco shall inform employees about the transit pass, carpool, and <br />guaranteed ride home programs in frequent written and verbal forms, <br />such as at employee orientations, monthly employee staff meetings, <br />and/or periodic employee newsletters. <br /> <br />59. In the event that the store is to conduct outdoor seasonal sales, the applicant <br />shall obtain a Temporary Use Permit for each occurrence. <br /> <br />60. Ongoing site maintenance operations shall conform to the City's noise <br />ordinance for construction noise. The regulations limit these types of activities <br />to daytime hours between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM and apply to leaf blowers <br />and other types of maintenance equipment. <br /> <br />Page 14 of 21 <br />
