Ms. Maureen Riordan
July 17,2007
Page 2

California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines. The Addendum is to
focus on evaluation of impacts associated with relocation of the project driveway,
along with other minor project design revisions and hazardous materials.

Direction to prepare an Addendum to the ISjMND is based on the presumption
that the project as revised would not result in impacts that would require major
revisions to the previously adopted ISjMND because:

. There would be no new significant environmental effects nor new substantial
increases in the severity of previously identified significant effects;

. There would be no new information of substantial importance, which was not
known and could not have been known with the exercise of reasonable
diligence at the time the previous Negative Declaration was adopted.

SCOPE OF WORK

Impact Sciences' proposed scope of work for the 885 Woodside Road ISjMND
Addendum includes the following tasks:

TASK 1. PREP ARE ADMINISTRATIVE DRAFT ISjMND
ADDENDUM

Impact Sciences will prepare an Administrative Draft ISjMND Addendum
for review by City staff. The ISjMND Addendum will include a description
of the revised project, an analysis of a revised traffic study that examines the
revised project driveway, review of a revised solar study, and review of
updated hazardous materials data. The ISjMND Addendum will also
include a determination of the appropriateness of preparing an addendum
to the previously adopted ISjMND, which will include a specific discussion
on whether or not the project as revised does or does not affect the
conclusions of the adopted ISjMND in all CEQA Checklist categories.
