7A <br /> ATTACHMENT 1 Pag@ 23 <br /> Standard Condition 4.7-2: Prior to construction, the City of Redwaod City shall <br /> require submittal of a Stormwa#er Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP} and a Notice of <br /> intent to the RWQCB to cantrol the discharge of starmwater pollutants, including <br /> sediment associateci witn construction ac�iviiies. Hic�f i� w��� t��se d��um��ts, the <br /> applican#s will also be required to prepare an Erosion Control Plan. The Erosion <br /> Contro! Plan may include Best Management Practices {BMPs) as specified in the <br /> California Stormwater Best Management Practice Nandbook for reducing impacts on <br /> the City's storm drainage system from construction activities. The SWPPP shall include <br /> control measures during the construction period for: soil stabilization practices; <br /> sediment control practices; sediment tracking control practices; and wind erosion controi <br /> �r3Ct:C8S. <br /> Priar to issuance of a gracting permit, the appficant shall be required to submit <br /> capies of the N�l and Erosion Contra! Plan to the C�ty Engineer. The applicant <br /> s"a�! alsu u� i°.yuiY°v t� rr:ainta�n a c^�;r nf fihP m�st r_.urrent SWPPP on-site and <br /> provide a copy to any City representative or inspector on demand. <br /> Finding: City Council of the City of Redwood City adopts Sfandard Conditions <br /> 4.7-1 and 4.7-2 as feasible measures, and finds that the implementation of these <br /> Standard Conditions would reduce Potential lmpact H/WQ-1 ofi the praject to a less- <br /> than-significant level. <br /> Poten#ial fmpact H1WQ-2: Redevelapment of the Sequoia Hospital campus <br /> (Area A} within the Precise Plan area would disturb more than ane acre and starm water <br /> runoff from the proposed new parking areas and buiiding roof tops could contribute to a <br /> degradation of surface water quality of Redwood and Cordilleras Creek, and ultimateiy, <br /> San Francisco Bay. <br /> �t��ciard Conditian 4.7-3: As }�art of the mitigation for post-construction runoff <br /> impacts addressed in the construction SWPPP, the project sponsor sha11 implement <br /> regular maintenance activities (i.e., maintaining on-site drainage faciiities and <br /> Eandscaping that receives stormwater runoff, litter control} at the site to prevent soil and <br /> litter from accumu}ating on the project site and contaminating surFace runoff.
