Staff praposed that the adjacent <br /> office buildings at 2900, 2940, and 2950 Whipple Av�nue be included in the study <br /> area far the Precise PEan (as Area B} #o coordinate with the Haspital's proposed <br /> C�EVE�Ci�,'i�'iEiii �Fii'E8 {h� �3iai�. �2ici iG ai�aC�3E:�i Pi"2CiS2 ����1 u�un�a�y ��� (Are�s <br /> A & B). <br /> • On February 10, 2005, the City held a Community Scoping Meeting to give the <br /> public an opportunity to provide early input and ask questions about Sequoia's <br /> proposed project prior to preparafior� o#the environmentai impact repo�. <br /> • On �'ebruary 17, 2005, City staff held a Joint Study Sessian with the Planning <br /> Commission and Architectura! Review Committee {ARC) whereby Bruce Fukuji <br /> {City urban design consultant to staff) and Doug Mayoras {Sequoia Hospita! <br /> architect) presented the outcome of a collaborative, preliminary site planning and <br /> design effort between City and Sequoia Hospi#al staff. <br /> The Planning Commission and ARC were asked to review and provide early inpu# <br /> on the proposed concep#ual site plan and to provide direction to staff and the City's <br /> Precise Plan and Environmental consultant. The outcome of the Study Session <br /> resulted in significar�t revisions to Sequoia's original project site plan proposal. <br />
