Under the proposed project, the core area of the existing <br /> hospital would remain and would be seismically retrafitted. In addition, approximately <br /> 38,000 square feet of the existing hospital building would be remodeled and 11,349 <br /> sc}uare feet of the existing haspital would be demolis�ed to allow for the proposed <br /> expansion and building upgrades. The resulting hospital wouid house approximately <br /> 167 beds, the same number as today. The project will also include a 4.5 level parking <br /> structure, <br /> In addition, an exis#ing 47,750 square foofi skilled nursing facility, which is located west <br /> of the hospital, wil! be demolished and incorporated inta the hospital.
