DES:dj~ 07/16/96 (019/42) <br /> <br />has determined that the proposed fees will not create revenues in <br />excess of the amount required to perform those services for which <br /> <br />the fees will be charged; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. New Buildings, Additions andAlterations to Existing <br /> Buildings. An applicant who proposes to construct a new building <br /> or to perform construction work in or upon an existing building <br /> or structure which includes structural, plumbing, electrical and <br /> mechanical work shall obtain a combination building permit prior <br /> to the commencement of any such construction. No such permit <br /> shall be issued unless the applicant complies with the provisions <br /> of the Contractors License Law and Section 3800 of the Labor Code <br /> regarding Workers' Compensation insurance certification. <br /> After the payment of the plan review fee by the applicant <br /> and completion of the plan review process, a permit fee <br /> corresponding to the fees for the combined entitlements shall be <br /> paid to the Building Official by the applicant. Such fee shall <br /> be submitted prior to the issuance of the combination permit for <br /> new buildings or structures or for additions or alterations to <br /> buildings or structures. A building permit may be issued for <br /> signs or for an alteration, repair or demolition of an existing <br /> building; provided no plumbing, mechanical or electrical work is <br /> to be done. <br /> 2. Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical Work.
