No one should be able to prevent a company from doing business on the basis of the belief system of the owners of that business. Now if they were practicing some form of discrimination against a protected class of citizens, that would be something else. They don't discriminate, and the allegation of homophobia is solely based on the donation of the corporate owner to an anti gay marriage campaign. That's certainly not a reason to label the company homophobic. If chick-Fil-A wants to open a location here, let them. Denying the opportunity of business based on some deluded sense of political difference is un-American and not at all inclusive. If the restaurant opens, they will certainly have my business. They gave money to the Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes and that is where the anti -gay "behavior" comes from. Q S. I think it's great! Just seems hypocritical - ED - Banning a restaurant from operating is too far. The City can force them to adhere to local anti -discrimination laws for both customers and employees. Residents can vote with their pocketbooks and try to convince others In the community to do the same.
