7.13. Adoption of a short-term rental registration fee (205) RESO 15771 <br />Management Analyst Christopher Dacumos made a presentation. <br />Mayor Bain opened the Public Hearing. There was no public comment. <br />Motion and second, Hale/Borgens, to close the Public Hearing. The motion <br />passes 6-0 by voice vote with Vice Mayor Howard absent. <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving a Short -Term Rental Registration Fee; and <br />2. By motion, direct staff to administratively incorporate the Short -Term Rental <br />Registration Fee into the City's Master Fee Schedule <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Motion and second, Aguirre/Borgens, to (1) adopt Resolution 15771 approving <br />a Short -Term Rental Registration Fee and (2) by motion, direct staff to <br />administratively incorporate the Short -Term Rental Registration Fee into the <br />City's Master Fee Schedule. The motion passes 5-0-1 by electronic vote with <br />Councilmember Reddy abstained (exited chambers prior to vote) and Vice <br />Mayor Howard absent. <br />8. STAFF REPORTS <br />8.A. Approval of Silicon Valley Clean Water Joint Powers agreement supplement, <br />amendment to the financing agreement relating to a Water Infrastructure <br />Finance and Innovation Act loan agreement with the United States <br />Environmental Protection Agency, and the 2019 Wastewater Revenue Notes, <br />and all related documents and official actions (304) RESO 15772 <br />Assistant City Manager/Administrative Service Director Kimbra McCarthy made <br />a presentation. <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing execution and delivery of a supplement to the <br />Silicon Valley Clean Water (SVCW) Joint Powers Agreement and an amendment <br />to the Financing Agreement with SVCW relating to a Water Infrastructure <br />Finance and Innovation Act Loan Agreement (WIFIA Loan Agreement) with the <br />United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and 2019 Wastewater <br />Revenue Notes, and approving related documents and official actions. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
