utility report for the site which states that the project meets C3
requirements. The project would be required to comply with all City
regulations for stormwater treatment and drainage design.
Section 6. Bonus Height: The Planning Commission finds that approval of
Bonus Height to allow up to 5 stories is consistent with the MUC-SB zoning and that
the proposed use provides a clear public benefit. The project would provide
additional hotel rooms, a desired land use in the City, that supports the Downtown
and nearby employment areas. In addition to supporting nearby businesses, these
hotel rooms would also provide additional transient occupancy tax (TOT) revenue.
TOT revenue is used to support a variety of services to the community and the
additional hotel rooms are considered a public benefit.
Section 7. Approval Subject to Conditions: The Planned Development
Permit, Use Permit, and Architectural Permit are hereby approved based on the
Planning Commission's consideration and reliance on the CEQA Memorandum and
in accordance with the attached and referenced plans, details and descriptions
contained therein, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and subject
to the Conditions of Approval as provided in Exhibit A attached to this Resolution:
Section 8. Effectiveness: This Resolution is effective upon its adoption.
ATTY/RESO.0018/PC RESO GRANTING CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR 1690 BROADWAY
REV: 02-27-19 PR
