<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO 2709. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH REDWOOD CITY FOR INFORMATION <br />TECHNOLOGY SERVICES FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $253,800. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto has advised the City of East Palo Alto that it will be <br />terminating its Internal Services Division in the Information Technology Department, where such <br />services have been rendered to six jurisdictions including East Palo Alto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of East Palo Alto is in need of technical assistance to implement and <br />support it technology resources throughout its operations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is capable, and willing to provide information <br />technology services to the City of East Palo Alto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement for Professional Services between the City of East Palo Alto and the <br />City of Redwood City allows a seamless transition for the users; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is qualified and capable of providing quality Information <br />Technology services to the City of East Palo Alto. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of East Palo Alto <br />authorizes the City Manager to enter into an Agreement with the City of Redwood City to provide <br />Information Technology services for the City of East Palo Alto for an amount not to exceed <br />$253,800. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />ABRICA, RUTHERFORD, FOSTER <br />EVANS <br />WOODS <br />o <br /> <br /> <br />l)~)~-L <br /> <br />David Earl Woods <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /><-:~:-. . <br />t ? .
