Condition 2: An active shooter/violent intruder incident is ongoing. Coordination between multiple City departments is necessary. The EOC is operating at Level II (Alert Level). ❑ Dispatch law enforcement and emergency medical response staff, along with other first responders that may be needed. ❑ Alert off-duty first responders and other relevant staff to the situation and inform them that they may be mobilized. ❑ Coordinate activities across City departments ❑ Activate the Police Department Operations Center and other Department Operations Centers as needed. ❑ Reroute traffic as needed to isolate the scene. ❑ Contact Firestorm for crisis management at (800) 321-2219. ❑ Contact local medical facilities and inform them to prepare for incoming victims of an active shooting/violent intruder event.
