The following applicants were appointed to the Pilot Community Tree Board: <br />Patricia Black, William Keating, Rick Nordensten, Isila Oliver, and Frank <br />Schwartz. (209) MINUTE ORDER 07 -176 <br />8:00 p.m. — Vice Mayor Foust left the meeting. <br />7. COMMITTEE REPORTS - <br />A. Amendment No. 2 to Agreement for Auditing Services (Caporicci & Larson) <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Bain /Aguirre to approve amendment to extend the agreement with <br />Caporicci & Larson to provide auditing services for the next four fiscal years. <br />(304) <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present with Vice <br />Mayor Foust absent. <br />MINUTE ORDER 07 -177 <br />B. Redwood City Public Art Program <br />Civic Cultural Commissioner Newblanc explained the recommendations from the <br />Commission. <br />Council Members asked various questions pertaining to cost, process, and funding <br />approach. Council Members also stated that funding should be a part of the annual <br />budget and requested that Chico's policy be studied. <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Howard /Ira to approve by motion the recommendations from the Civic Cultural <br />Commission (Commission) to establish a Redwood City Public Art Program <br />(Program) and authorize the Commission to develop guidelines to implement the <br />Program. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present with <br />Vice Mayor Foust absent. (708) MINUTE ORDER 07 -178 <br />8. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST (continued) <br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub - section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 35 -2007. Council may direct staff to act on positions <br />taken by Council.
