Guidelines, § 15358(b).) The issues discussed in the Redwood Peninsula EIR are <br /> not related to physical changes and are not considered significant impacts under <br /> CEQA. <br /> <br /> (b) The Project will provide employment in the City and will add to the tax base. <br /> Therefore, it will help the City to meet its goals relating to increasing the tax base <br /> and improving the housing to employment ratio. <br /> <br />3.7 <br /> <br />37'Ki ~AlI.e, fllilll-]~[P~: The Project will result in the increased use of city services and <br /> facilities. <br /> <br /> EilL0_il~: The City hereby makes Finding (1). <br /> <br /> Facts in Support of Findings: <br /> <br /> (a) Pursuant to the Development Agreement, the Project applicant has agreed to <br /> pay the City $400,000 to use for purposes benefiting the Redwood Shores community. <br /> Half of this fund ($200,000) shall be expended for a permanent fire station in Redwood <br /> Shores, while the remaining $200,000 shall be used to fund a community center or for <br /> any other community purpose that the City determines to be appropriate. <br /> <br /> (b) Sufficient gas, electricity and telephone service capacity exists to meet the <br /> needs of the Project. The Development Agreement requires the Project applicant <br /> to pay a Facilities Fee (as defined in the Development Agreement) for the <br /> provision of storm drainage, sewage and other facilities needed for the Project. <br /> As described in the Development Agreement, Redwood Shores Properties and the <br /> City have agreed to supply sewage treatment capacity for the Project, and the City <br /> will provide water in sufficient quantities to serve the needs of the Project. <br /> <br /> (c) City staff have consulted with the Redwood City Police Department with <br /> respect to anticipated impacts on law enforcement resources. According to the <br /> Police Department, the Project is expected to have minimal impact.
