The council could take no action on the revisions to the City Clerk job description. <br />This will result in the continued use of the existing classification. <br /> <br />2. The Council could take no action on the creation of the new classification of Code <br />Enforcement Officer 1/11. This would result in the department not having the <br />enhanced capability to proactively inspect and enforce ordinances, codes and <br />zoning regulations in the downtown redevelopment project area. <br /> <br />3. Council could advise staff to conduct further research and come up with another <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />There is no fiscal impact for adopting the resolution to revise the City Clerk job description. <br /> <br />The salary and benefit costs for adding the new classification of Code Enforcement Officer <br />1/11 is $13,131 for the remainder of fiscal year 2007/08.
