Presentation (information only) — San Mateo County 2006 Housing Needs Study <br />Community Development Services Director Ingram introduced the speakers on this <br />item. <br />Dorkas Cheng - Tozun, HCD Specialist II, San Mateo County Department of <br />Housing, gave a summary report of the big picture long term view of the housing <br />needs in San Mateo County as a result of the 2006 Study. Resolution to approve Redwood City's Final Regional Housing Need Allocation <br />(RHNA) for the 2007 -2014 General Plan Housing Element planning period. <br />Planning Manager Ekas gave the presentation and explanation of the staff report. <br />(PowerPoint presentation on file.) <br />Recommendation <br />M/S Bain /Aguirre to adopt a Resolution confirming participation in the San Mateo <br />County Sub - region for the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) Process and <br />acceptance of the assigned housing share in accordance with the Technical <br />Advisory Committee (ATC) and Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) recommendation. <br />See Attachment 1 for Draft Resolution.
