of signal phasing at the Marine Parkway/Oracle Parkway west intersection <br /> for north-south approaches. <br /> <br /> The foregoing mitigation measures shall be implemented and <br /> monitored as a condition to the Planned Development Permit, and <br /> pursuant to the Second Amendment. <br /> <br /> The Project will also result in an unmitigatable adverse impact <br /> regarding traffic congestion on State Highway 101. The foregoing impacts <br /> shall be reduced by the hereinafter described mitigation measures, but <br /> current congestion resulting in cumulative effects are outside the control <br /> of the City of Redwood City or the Developer. <br /> <br /> The Developer shall implement the following mitigation measures <br /> to reduce the aforesaid impacts: (i) public transportation agencies can <br /> and should provide transit service to the Project, provided; that if such <br /> service is not available, the Developer shall provide (and continue to <br /> provide) shuttle service to public transportation facilities, which service <br /> shall be required under the Second Amendment; (ii) the Developer shall <br /> comply with the trip reduction ordinance of the San Francisco Bay Area <br /> Air Quality Management District, the Redwood City Transportation System <br /> Management Ordinance, and the San Mateo County Congestion <br /> Management Plan, as said ordinances and plan may from time to time be <br /> amended; trip reduction measures and transportation management <br /> program measures shall promote ride-sharing and transit ridership; (iii) the <br /> Developer shall participate in a traffic assessment district and/or other fair- <br /> <br />Reso-49 7 <br />G:\Shared\Redwood~Council <br />06/20/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
