The safety plan shall be approved by the City's Building <br /> Department priar to the start of construction activity on the site. <br /> Finding: Implementation of MM HAZ—2 would reduce impacts during construction activities <br /> from hazardous construction materials to a less than significant level. <br /> Facts in Support of Finding: Implementation of MM HAZ—2 would ensure that any construction <br /> materials classified as hazardous materials would be safely handled by construction <br /> personnel and that any accidental spills are contained and cleaned up, as described in <br /> Appendix C of the Draft EIR, (Finger Avenue Nine-Lot Planned Development Initial <br /> Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration, November 2008, pages 40-43), which is <br /> hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> Hvdrolo�v and Water Oualitv <br /> Impact: Impact HYD—5: The project would increase the amount of impervious surfaces on <br /> the project site, thereby increasing the amount of urban runoff to Cordilleras Creek <br /> and San Francisco Bay. <br /> Mitigation: MM HYD—5: The project developer shall implement a stormwater drainage plan <br /> during construction and post-construction, approved by the City in conformance with <br /> applicable state and federal requirements. Prior to submittal of a grading permit to the <br /> City Engineer for review and approval, or such other site improvement permit that is <br /> a requisite prior to the start of project site grading,the applicant shall prepare a <br /> Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan(SWPPP)that is consistent with applicable <br /> requirements and regulations. The SWPPP shall be approved by the City Engineer <br /> concurrent with the approval of a grading permit, ar such other site improvement <br /> permit that is a requisite prior to the start of project site grading. <br /> Finding: Implementation of MM HYD—5 would reduce the project's impacts to Cordilleras <br /> Creek from increased urban runoff to a less than significant level. <br /> Facts in Support of Finding: Implementation of MM HYD—5 would ensure that runoff from the <br /> project's increased impervious surface area(a net increase of 2,211 sq.ft.)would be <br /> appropriately managed on site and not exceed the capacity of the existing or planned <br /> stormwater drainage system, as described in Section 2.2—Hydrology and Water <br /> Quality of the Draft EIR on pages 50-63, which is hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> Impact: Impact HYD—6: The project would create or contribute runoff water which has the <br /> potential to provide substantial additional sources of polluted runoff or that could <br /> 13 <br /> RESO.#15217 <br /> MUFF#613 <br />
