07/28/2014 <br /> Assist in the development and monitoring of an assigned program budget. <br /> Prepare and present clear and concise correspondence and reports. <br /> Read and interpret architectural drawings and plans, maps, specifications and <br /> reports. <br /> Write staff reports and correspondence. <br /> Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. <br /> Demonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment in the performance of duties. <br /> Work independently and as a team member; recognize and set priorities and <br /> meet milestones. <br /> Meet appropriate physical demands necessary for adequate job performance. <br /> Experience and Traininu Guidelines: <br /> Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide <br /> the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain <br /> the knowledge and abilities would be: <br /> Experience: <br /> Four years of increasingly responsible experience in planning, community <br /> development, redevelopment, affordable housing or a related field <br /> performing duties involving program development, administration, project <br /> and program evaluation and monitoring, capital improvement and <br /> revitalization including a minimum of finro years of supervisory or project <br /> management experience. <br /> Education: <br /> Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university <br /> with major coursework in urban or regional planning, architecture or a <br /> related field.
