The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br />such buildings are a public nuisance are as follows: <br /> <br />530B Cedar Street <br /> <br />a. Basement area of main house was converted to a <br />living unit with less than 7'6" ceiling height. <br /> <br />b. Rear bedroom lacks sufficient natural light and <br />ventilation. <br /> <br />c. There is no emergency egress from bedroom units; <br />windows are unopenable or do not meet minimum net <br />clear opening, minimum openable height, width, nor <br />sill height. <br /> <br />d. Shower walls and floors are not impervious to water <br />penetration. <br /> <br />e. Washer drain terminates in shower receptor. <br /> <br />f. There is insufficient natural light and ventilation <br />in bathroom. <br /> <br />g. Exits from living unit are inadequate. <br /> <br />h. Drainage disposal line for water closet is <br />obstructed; sewage material present in basement <br />area. <br /> <br />i. Dampness present in sleeping rooms. <br /> <br />j. Zip cords are used extensively for permanent <br />wiring; no convenience outlest are available. <br /> <br />k. Light fixture with pull chain switch is located <br />inside showering area and is extremely hazardous. <br /> <br />530C Cedar Street <br /> <br />a. Tank house (water tower) has been converted to <br />living unit. Garage space, also a part of this <br />structure, is also being used as a living unit. <br /> <br />2 <br />
