RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY PROPOSING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ORDERING SUBMISSION THEREOF TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AT THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF APRIL 10, 1984 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Council of Redwood City does hereby propose, on its motion, that those certain amendments hereinafter set forth be made to the Charter of the City of Redwood City, and does hereby order that such proposed Charter amendments be submitted to the electors of the City of Redwood City at the General Municipal

<br />DFS:djg-c 12/8/83 <br /> <br />II (c) Any members of such Board may be removed at any time by <br />an affirmative vote of five-sevenths (5/7ths) of all members of <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />"(d) The members thereof shall serve for a term of three (3) <br />years and thereafter until their respective successors are <br />appointed and qualified. <br /> <br />II (e) The members of such Board shall receive no <br />compensation. <br /> <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />"SECTION 21-1/2. ESTABLISHMENT OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: <br /> <br />"All boards and commissions shall be established and the <br />members thereof appointed by the Council, and the duties and <br />functions of said boards and commissions shall be prescribed by <br />the Council, unless otherwise specifically provided in this <br />Charter.
